Returned from vacation to discovered water damage

This customer was away from her home for about a month and returned home to find her bedroom has sustained water damage from the unit above. Because she was gone for a long period of time, the time of damage was unknown and the mold started to spread. SERVPRO of Mountain View, Los Altos sent out the crew immediately to assess the damage, begin move out of customer's contents and get to the affected areas as soon as possible to avoid additional damage. During the demolition of affected walls and ceiling, it started raining on the technicians - the source of water was still not fixed! We quickly figured out where the water was coming from and worked with the source unit to fix the problem. After the source got fixed, it took few additional days to dry the re-affected area - disaster averted.
