Puzzling water loss
In these before and after pictures, the homeowner called us out to mitigate a water loss that came from the shower valve, but we had to figure out the path of water in order to justify the mitigation to the insurance company. Sometimes we have to play detectives to investigate the loss and provide our findings to the claim adjuster in order to determine coverage. This one was a mystery and took a long time to figure out what exactly happened at the time of loss, but we prevailed! There were numerous sources/problems that caused the damage to the bathroom shower that ended up in removing the shower down to the studs and starting over. The customer was happy that the mystery was solved.
